Conferences

The Higher Education Data Warehousing Forum started as a collaborative meeting of higher ed professionals in the data warehousing field trying to help each other.  This tradition is carried on every year with a conference and it is the single largest activity and benefit provided by HEDW.  It is a chance for peers to connect and for practitioners to share lessons learned.  The audience ranges from schools that have been doing data warehousing over 20 years to those just getting started.  Everyone has a story to tell and can learn something from the conference.

Hosting

The conference is hosted by schools from around the country.  An attempt is made to be geographically diverse, but we rely on schools volunteering to host.  Hosting gives a great opportunity for many reasons.

  • Brings data warehousing expertise to you and your co-workers
  • Cuts travel costs and allows for more of your staff to attend
  • Showcases your campus
  • Brings attention and revenue to your city
  • Allows you to focus more administrative attention on your data warehouse efforts, and how important it is to everyone across the country

If you are interested in hosting a future conference, please review our hosting requirements.
