Higher Education Data Warehousing Conference 2016

The HEDW Forum includes technical developers and administrators of data access and reporting systems, data custodians, institutional researchers, and consumers of data representing a variety of internal university audiences. The Annual Conference, sponsored by the Forum, is also open to this same focused audience. The 2016 conference includes three days of sessions and events as well as the optional Sunday training, and is being hosted by the University of Rochester at the Hyatt Regency Rochester, in Rochester, NY.
Registration opens January 4, 2016.
Early bird registration (ends February 4) is $395. Regular registration is $450. There will be no on-site registration.
Registration is waived for program presenters. Presenter proposal submission.
We offer 1 presenter grant and 1 attendee grant. Each grant covers registration and travel expenses. Application for the presenter grant is available now. A link for the attendee grant application will be posted when registration opens in January.
Two training sessions will be offered on Sunday. Details on those will be posted as soon as we confirm information with our trainers. Each session will cost $500
Excursions
We are pleased to offer several excursions in the Rochester area on Sunday and Wednesday. Details will be available when registration opens.
Sunday, April 3
Niagara Falls tour – This approximately 6-hour tour includes lunch and viewing the Falls from the U.S. side. Coach transportation will depart from the hotel. The Falls are about 80 miles east of Rochester.
Craft Brewery Trail – This tour stops at 2-3 craft beer breweries located within the city of Rochester. Tour includes beer tasting, food, and transportation.
Wednesday, April 6
George Eastman Museum – This tour includes admission, guide, and transportation to the museum. This museum houses photographic exhibits and an exceptional collection of photographic and cinematographic technology.
Black Button Distillery – This tour includes transportation and tastings at this artisan distillery located in Rochester.
