Charge for Services Model

Presentation Summary

With the initial implementation of the data warehouse at the University of Illinois, the focus was Enterprise data for all 3 campuses. As business intelligence/data warehousing and user needs have matured, an Enterprise solution does not always fit. Given the current project governance, producing solutions for a specific entity was difficult. Mandy and Rick will discuss how they are incorporating a Charge for Services model to produce targeted solutions for individual units within the University and provide alternative funding sources to the BI/DW team.
