Come Together Right Now…: Reshaping the BIDW Team through Lessons Learned in a Large Datamart Project

Presentation Summary

The BIDW team at Wash U had been restructured and new resources had been added. The Student Financial Services datamart was the first major development effort of the newly revamped/created BIDW team. Although we had our roles and responsibilities defined and our processes established, this project exposed several gaps and weaknesses. This project also helped us come together as a BIDW team and reshape what we do in the future. We wanted to share the numerous lessons learned (good and not so good) from the experience.
