Data Modeling, Prioritization, and Data Governance: A Comprehensive Approach to Enterprise Data

In the past two years the University of Minnesota has begun shifting to a more comprehensive enterprise approach to data. As a collaborative effort across the university, the work has brought together people from technology, business, and academic perspectives to first build an enterprise data warehouse of governed data. This presentation addresses the current changes happening, focusing on the challenges and successes of connecting technical modeling, prioritization of work, and data governance initiatives.
