At University of Michigan our ETL Ecosystem is complex and diverse. Our processes run on various ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, homegrown, SSAS), different platforms with wildly different sources and targets. Some are vendor delivered while most are custom. Error handling is non-standard across these processes making ongoing triage and production support challenging and stressful. Come to this session and hear how we centralized every - not completely successful - ETL process result, simplified, standardized and sometimes automated our handling of issues resulting in reduced stress and better customer service.
