This is a story about the evolution of Self-Service BI at Kansas State University. An enterprise analytics initiative is underway at Kansas State University to support data-driven decision-making to help meet the many challenges facing our institution. A cornerstone of this initiative is development of an enterprise data warehouse. Using innovative strategies and leveraging the enterprise data warehouse, we deliver self-service BI to university decision makers, providing them with the information they need. This presentation includes Microsoft technologies currently deployed, successes and lessons learned, and resources to help you organize a similar initiative in your institution.
