Presentation Summary
The Chief Data Officer is a new position in industry and higher ed. At Cornell, the CDO leads the Office of Data Architecture and Analytics team in the development of project implementation BI solutions and the support and maintenance of existing solutions and is charged with developing ODAA to become the recognized leader for university data analytics. In addition, ODAA will help leverage university data assets, solve unit data needs, formulate and promulgate best practices and develop a university wide data analyst community while also taking an active role in data governance and policy development. This presentation will describe the goals, objectives and associated challenges and to-date successes of the CDO role at Cornell University.Presentation Speaker(s)
