Transforming Decision-Making with Agile BI

Indiana University (IU) launched an ambitious initiative to transform decision-making across the university in mid-2015. Join us and hear a data architect and scrum master recount the events from year two. A lot has changed as we build momentum toward a data-informed culture with agile BI. We will assess progress to reinvent analytics at IU, focusing on both technology and culture changes. The assessment will include a critical look at accomplishments and challenges in delivering value in rapid increments - including data virtualization (Denodo), agile scrum development, data governance and metadata (Data Cookbook), data visualizations (Tableau +), and self-service BI.
